JUNE 2015 CLASSES
Learn to Knit - you will learn to cast on, knit and purl stitches, ribbing and casting off.
Cost: $45 for four 2-hour session plus materials:
Intermediate Knitting- you will learn how to increase and decrease, how to read a
pattern and identify stitch textures. MUST have knowledge of basic knitting stitches.
Cost: $45 for four 2-hour sessions plus materials
Project suggestions: Silk Merino Fingerless Gloves, Barb's Koigu Ruffle, Little Ruff (Potato chip scarf) and more.
SUMMER WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG KNITTERS
Sheryl will be teaching both beginning and intermediate young knitting students ages 8 and up. New students will learn knitting basics and students with some knitting skills can continue to advance at their own rate. Class will be held on Thursdays from 1:00pm until 2:30pm. Cost: $35.00 for 4 sessions Dates: June 18, 25, July 2, 9 Supplies: Yarn and needles appropriate to yarn (yarn must be purchased at our store) *Students must be 8 years and older. Class size 2 to 5 students.

WEAVING WITH NANCY PEAK
Nancy Peck is teaching Weaving at Michigan Fine Yarns.
Nancy has a degree in Textiles and Related Arts and
specializes in designing and weaving handwoven fabrics.
Sessions will be longer if 3 dates are listed...(8 hours total)

Wed. 11:00am - 1:00pm June 3, 10, 17, 24
Wed. 2:00pm - 4:00pm June 3, 10, 17, 24
Class fee: $50.00 for four 2 hour sessions - plus materials
Supplies: Cricket Loom or Ashford Loom (several sizes available for sale) 2 skeins of yarn for a scarf (to be purchased at our shop)
**Loom should be assembled before the first class and yarn should be wound ready to begin weaving.**
